2012 Analog-a-go-go at Dogfish Head Craft Brewery

Here’s the poster by Sam Calagione of Dogfish Head and Bill Covaleski of Victory Brewing.

This year the fair was even bigger than last year. There was an enormous tent we were set up under with the vinyl vendors and artisans along with casks of Dogfish beer. The vinyl dealers, Other Music, Rainbow Records and more  took turns spinning records, so fun awesome music was played throughout the day.

Here are some of my favorite things I saw: Heidi Lowe made earrings out of old records with little dogfish cut-outs. Brian Kolakowski made wooden sculptures of fried eggs, and I had my eye on a Tom Waits print at Ka-Chunk! Records. There was lots more of course. Some of the brews we tasted were Bitches Brew, World Wide Stout, Faithful Ale and Headwaters Pale Ale by guest brewer Victory Brewing.

The night before the fair we saw the Fleshtones and Steve Wynn and the Miracle 3.

Here’s the Fleshtones on the bench outside the pub.

Steve Wynn and the Miracle 3 were great!

Saturday night, June 23rd, Sam Calagione introduces Bonnie Prince Billy at the pub. An amazing show.

A favorite keepsake, 2 wooden magnets from the album “Wolfroy Goes to Town” signed by Bonnie Prince Billy, who’s so amazing!!!
